Lindsay Lohan's Plea To Chanel: I Need Bling!

In a poor attempt to make her alcohol detecting bracelet look less like a bulging black box she'd like to bedazzle it up with some stickers...Chanel Stickers.

Lohan wrote on her Twitter: "Can CHANEL please help me out by getting me some stickers to put on my scram bracelet so that I can at least wear a chic dress?! maybe!? x,”

But the maker of the ankle bracelet warns that anything that affects the alcohol-monitoring device could be considered a violation and could trigger its tampering mechanism. So adorning the lightweight monitor with sequins or stickers could be fraught with problems for the fashionable actress.

The alcohol monitoring bracelet is a small, pager-like device that tests for alcohol in perspiration on the skin numerous times a day. The device sends information to a base typically in the offender's home, which in turn delivers the data to the monitoring company.

Foods That Add A Little Flavor To Your Sex Life

So I snuck over to the men's section on WebMD to see what it's like on the other side and what they are being told. It was almost like standing outside a locker room while boys chatted to each other. Some of the stuff was weird (and useless to us girls) like jock itch and swollen testicles but some of what I found was pretty interesting! Not only do they explain to guys what they can eat for longevity but they also discuss foods that will enhance the sex life. This info was too good not to share with the ladies!

Here is a list of foods that meant to heighten the sexual appetite:

Honey

Ever wonder where the term "honeymoon" came from? Centuries ago, newlyweds in Europe drank honey wine during the first month of marriage to improve their sexual stamina.

Chocolate

The Aztec emperor Montezuma's chocolate consumption is legendary. Rumor has it that he drank 50 glasses of honey-sweetened chocolate a day in the name of virility.

Alcohol
Nothing says seduction like popping the cork on the best bottle of bubbly money can buy, if that's what you enjoy.

Here are a few food tips from AskMen.com

Celery
While celery may not be the first food that comes to mind when you're thinking sex, it can be a fantastic source food for sexual stimulation. This is because it contains androsterone, an odorless hormone released through male perspiration and turns women on. (Who knew!)

Figs
These are high in amino acids, which are believed to increase libido. They can also improve sexual stamina. Furthermore, the shape of a fresh fig and the sweet, juicy taste are two tangible aspects that are highly pleasurable to the human senses.

Garlic
Yes, you might need to stock up on some extra breath mints, but it'll be worth it. Garlic contains allicin, an ingredient that increases blood flow to the sexual organs. As such, it's a highly effective herb to help increase libido. If the odor just won't work for you -- or you can't stand garlic -- you and your lady can always take garlic capsules instead.

Now you can go to the store with a very detailed grocery list and make him a nice little chocolaty, garlic fig treat with a little alcohol on the side!

People of Walmart are still scary

And the winner is: Bret Micheals

So despite his recent health issues Bret Michaels came out on top becoming Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice over Holly Robinson Peete and winning $250,000 towards his charity of the American Diabetes Association. (Though Holly received $250,000 for her charity as well.)

While Bret was on health alert while filming the last episode of the show, you have to really wonder if he won due to his great apprentice skills or because of his recent health issues. If it weren't the case then surely Holly would not have received money for her charity as well.

What do you think? Take our poll!

Mom Giveaways Are On The Way!

As moms we tend to always put everyone else first and ourselves second which is understandable but unacceptable! We are people too and we deserve a break every now and then. With that in mind I have been going all over the city to different stores to get goodies for moms! There will be gifts of flowers, wine, spa treatments, dinners and more. Why? Because we deserve it and the stores that donate the goodies know that moms do!

I will be placing the gifts on the websites once a month until I start to gain more goodies to give. During the month whoever is interested in the goodie can drop off your name at the store (only once is needed!) and we will have a meetup towards the end of the month to pick the name and determine the mom who gets the goodie! You are more than welcome to visit the store and drop off your name at any time if you cannot make the meetup.

The best part is if the goodie is a spa treatment or dinner and you need someone to babysit I will do it for you, that way you can relax in peace! So keep your eyes peeled for the goodies to come!!!

Coffee is good for you!

While I was pregnant I was told that I should not have more than one cup of coffee if any and then after I had my son I was told that too much coffee is bad for you. Well after reading this article I say "Ha!" to all the nay sayers of drinking coffee! As it turns out coffee is actually GOOD for you and to top of off it might be a huge preventative for certain illnesses and diseases!

From this article on WebMD, it states that coffee could lower your risk of diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and colon cancer."We don't know exactly why coffee is beneficial for diabetes," lead researcher Frank Hu, MD, tells WebMD. "It is possible that both caffeine and other compounds play important roles. Coffee has large amounts of antioxidants such as chlorogenic acid and tocopherols, and minerals such as magnesium. All these components have been shown to improve insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism."

At least six studies indicate that people who drink coffee on a regular basis are up to 80% less likely to develop Parkinson's, with three showing the more they drink, the lower the risk. Other research shows that compared to not drinking coffee, at least two cups daily can translate to a 25% reduced risk of colon cancer, an 80% drop in liver cirrhosis risk, and nearly half the risk of gallstones. There's also some evidence that coffee may help manage asthma and even control attacks when medication is unavailable, stop a headache, boost mood, and even prevent cavities.

Workouts At Home

Now that summer is coming everyone wants to be able to get into shape and to hopefully fit into the prebaby jeans again, but it is challenging when you can't get to (or afford) a gym membership or get someone to watch the baby while you work out for that matter! Well worry no more! With the help of personal trainer Victoria Gray we will learn not only how to workout from home but how to incorporate our babies into the workouts as well!

Here are a few workouts that Victoria suggest that you can use with or without free weights, but what better "free weight" can you have than lifting your baby!

*Disclaimer: The photos are of me and my son (and occasionally Bailey the Beagle so they are in no way beautifully lit, airbrushed prettiness. Additionally some might gain chuckles due to my Something About Mary hair and goofy one year old but the workouts are authentic and effective! I am still aching and pumped days later!

Here was our routine:

Squat to overhead press with baby 3 sets of 20 reps

Lat pull downs two hands with band attached to door 3x20

Alternating side lunges with or without baby on hip 3 x 20

Alternating side lunges with rotational toe touch 3 x 20

Two leg bridges with baby on hips 2 x 10

While we managed to do the hour session with an overactive baby and an attention grabbing puppy the workouts were definitely affective. Victoria suggest that if you decide not to use the baby and do not have access to over the door bands to use free weights or even cans as a means of resistance to your workout. She also mentioned the following:
  • When doing situps make sure to arch your back when going down to the floor to protect your back and spine.
  • Make sure your butt is not sticking high in the air when doing push-ups and to be aware that you are pushing your body up as one unit, so no sequence of legs, stomach and shoulders. Just one connected push up of your entire body.
  • To make sure that your shoulders are dropped and you are in a diving position when doing the pull-downs. This will accurately work and tone your back muscles.
  • To keep in the back of your mind what it is that you are going after while you work out. While the repetitions might be tedious the only way you will achieve your goal is if you keep pushing yourself.
If you want to contact Victoria directly you can email her at victoria@vgrayfitness.com or go here to her Facebook for more questions or on baby fitness.

Enjoy!

What happened to good ole 16?

Remember back when we were 16 and how lucky we were to go to the mall with our girlfriends and if we had a boy over we weren't allowed to close the door? The days of Jr High Dances and dancing arms width apart? Whatever happened to those days? I'm sure Miley Cyrus' parents are asking the same question. Between her having a boyfriend and being "in love" to giving her much older and gay producer a dirty lap dance this road is head towards Disasterville, population Handful of Promiscuous Child Stars.

But it's not like there were any signs that she was growing up naughty....or were there?

...Ohhhh...
...oh boy...

....oh no...

....no better role model than a 15 year old pole dancer...
