With the holiday coming up it's perfect to make a sweet and summery drink to prepare for a party.
Ingredients
2 blackberries, plus 1 blackberry and 1 lime wheel skewered on a pick
1 cup ice
1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
1/2 ounce Chambord
1 ounce chilled club soda
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the 2 blackberries. Add the ice, tequila, lime juice, Simple Syrup and Chambord. Shake well and pour into a rocks glass. Stir in the club soda and garnish with the skewered blackberry and lime wheel.

Cocktail of the Week- Saketini
| What better food to eat in the summer than some delicious sushi, and what better cocktail to have than Saketini! It is pretty easy to make and is light and summery, the perfect combo for a nice sushi lunch. |

| 25ml (or approx 3/4 oz) Sake 25ml (or approx 3/4 oz) Vodka 7.5ml (or approx 1/4 oz) Gin 1 slice cucumber ice |

| Into a mixing glass filled with ice, pour the Sake, Vodka and Gin. Stir vigorously to ensure the contents are well mixed. Pour and strain into a frosted martini glass. To finish, arrange the cucumber onto the rim of the glass |

Moms Love Chocolate Cocktails
You are only a few simple ingredients away from having great chocolate cocktails at your fingertips! Try these yummy chocolate drinks on a relaxing afternoon or with a few girlfriends!
Chocolate Biscuit
1 ½ shots Cognac
1 ½ shots dark crème de cacao
1 ½ shots kahlua
Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a dusting of chocolate powder.

1 oz vodka
½ oz crème de bananas
½ oz crème de cacao

Cocktail of the week- Sparkling Orange Cocktail
A little vodka and homemade syrupy goodness makes for an awesomely yummy cocktail! This recipe is enough to serve 8 girlfriends!
Ingredients:
- 2 seedless oranges, (for syrup)
- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 2/3 cup(s) freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 cup(s) vodka
- 1 orange, (for cocktail)
- 1 bottle(s) chilled Champagne or sparkling wine
Directions
- To make syrup: With a sharp knife, thinly slice oranges. Place in a medium nonreactive saucepan and toss with sugar. Let stand for 15 minutes.
- Add orange juice and vodka to saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Uncover and cook until liquid is syrupy and orange slices are translucent, about 20 minutes.
- Strain syrup through a fine sieve into a bowl, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
- To make cocktails: With a vegetable peeler, remove 8 long strips of zest from the orange. Twist each strip and place in a champagne glass. Add 1 tablespoon bitter-orange syrup to each glass. Top with Champagne and stir gently. Serve immediately.

1 - 2” chunk of watermelon

watermelon wedge and basil leaves for garnish

Cocktail of the Week- Spring Fever
Here is the alcoholic and non-alcoholic version of the cocktail Spring Fever!
Ingredients
Spring Fever- Alcohol
Ingredients
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish.
*TLM Green Tea Simple Syrup: Brew four ounces of green tea and pour into a saucepan. Add eight ounces of white granulated sugar. Heat and stir constantly, until boiling. Reduce heat, set aside and refrigerate.
Think of the Spring Fever Cocktail as Spring in a glass.

Cocktail for the expecting mom- the Mamarita
Pregnant city moms don't have to be outcast from the cool cocktails! Here is a fun and healthy cocktail for the soon to be Mom in the City gal!
Mamarita- from the book Pregatinis
Ingredients
1 ounce agave nectar
1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce orange juice
3 ounces organic limeaid
1 lime wheel
rimming salt
Directions
Rim a margarita glass and set aside. Stir agave nectar and lemon juice in the bottom of a mixing glass until nectar dissolves. Add orange juice, limeaid, and ice, then shake vigorously. Strain into the margarita glass, and serve with a lime wheel on the rim.
Enjoy!!
White Rose Martini
1/ 2 cup water
4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
3 1/ 2 cup vodka
1/ 2 teaspoon rose water
2 tablespoons sugar
24 edible rose petals
Ice cubes
· Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Then simmer and keep stirring till the sugar dissolves.
· Cool a bit and then add vodka, lime juice and rose water while stirring the mixture.
· Take a cocktail shaker and will it with ice cubes and add one-fourth of the martini mixture and shake a bit.
· Now, strain the shaken martini in two glasses and garnish with rose petals and serve chilled.

Basil Martini Recipe! Yum!
Yea, spring is on the way!! Time to start preparing those sweet and light cocktails to toast to warmth. Here is a simple recipe that uses one of my favorite cooking ingredients- basil!
